My husband & I enjoyed our stay at the Bartlett Farm B & B. It is a REAL working farm, which was fascinating to me.The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and accomodated us in every way, especially to my food allergies, without making me feel self conscious.We were especially delighted by their 9 year old son , Jonathan, who sat with us & chatted at breakfast. His parents would have kept him in the family room, but, we enjoyed his conversation & interest in a wide range of topics and encouraged him to stay at the table with us. Our bedroom was totally private with private bath -the bed quite comfortable. We were sad to leave and miss our new friends. If you like people & enjoy experiencing a different way of life, this B & B is for you.
Fantastic countryside stay. We were greeted by the kindest golden retriever and chickens strutting around the yard. The room we had was comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was freshly cooked by our hosts and served at the table with the other guests. Guilford square is a 15 min drive with New Haven less than an hour away. Perfect for a quiet getaway!
