The only positive experience I had was the manager Jessica. She was incredibly professional, comped my haircut and attempted to fix it. I was appreciative of the effort, but I still walked out with a bad version of Hillary Clinton’s haircut. (I’m 29 and now look incredibly matronly)
I just want to take a quick min & put this out there. I am the salon leader of Hair Cuttery in the Guilford Commons. After seeing these reviews I just want to say thank you for the support & kind words to those who left positive reviews. And for the couple that were not good, a few things.....if your ever in our salon again & are not happy with your service or anything, please contact me so I can make things right. I am very proud of this salon & the very talented people I work with. And also, for Mary Best, you have never even been in my salon so leaving false, negative reviews is really a low blow and lame thing to do. I invite you to visit us so you can see how amazing HC of Guilford is. If not, please stop leaving such reviews. Again, thank you for all your support. Had the worst hair cutting experience ever in my life at this place. The lady who was cutting my hair split it down the middle (even though I told her I wear my hair parted to the right) and did extreme layers. After switching my hair to the correct part, I noticed that it looked as if part of my hair had been cut and the other was left.
I truly enjoy my visits there.
I discovered the Hair Cuttery in Guilford this year and have been delighted. The prices are very reasonable. The salon is clean and airy, and the hairdresser to whom I go is most responsive to my styling requests.
Went in with a big hair problem... Steph and Jessica and the rest of the crew were very helpful making suggestions on a new hair style and when I got home my wife didn't kill me so I guess that was a thumbs up for great service. Awesome atmosphere. I will def be back.
I don’t generally leave reviews but I was so upset with the service I receiverd here. When you go to a salon you put a certain level of trust in someone. Mine was apparently misplaced as the stylist didn’t even listen to what I asked for. I walked in with chin length hair that I had been growing out from a pixie. I told her I wanted to even it up but liked the length. I walked out with short hair in the back, and almost 3 inches gone from the front. When she finished drying and asked how I liked it I was clearly upset and told her it wasn’t what I had asked for at all. She then proceeded to tell me I had asked for a couple of inches off. I hope you have a great time at your Christmas Eve celebration that you were more focused on telling me about than listening about my hair. I’ll never be going back to the Hair Cuttery.
