Nice trail system right off Route 80. Multiple trails to extend your bike for as long as you would like. Relatively peaceful. Not a lot of other hikers around. Great place to hike if you want to get away from it all, get a little fresh air, and clear your mind.

Amazing hikes and great for off trail mountain biking
I've been hiking here for years. One of Connecticut's hidden treasures. There is a great outlook about 600 feet up that you can see pretty far out on a nice day. Very little outside noise as well.
Been hiking all over, turns out one of my favorite parks is right in my backyard. "Expansive" is right, I've so far only explored the south, and our hikes routinely go 6-7 miles. Excellently marked as well, and lots of wildlife to be seen.
